This vintage postcard features a view of the Yuma Territorial Prison now an Arizona State Historic Park.
The back of the postcard tells us: Yuma Territorial Prison, now a state historic park, held criminals from all over the southwest from 1876 to 1909. Yuma High School occupied one of the abandoned buildings in 1912 and from this brief stay the schools athletic teams have acquired the name THE CRIMINALS.
