The back of this linen vintage postcard tells us that this is a view of Pikes Peak, elevation 14110 feet above sea level among the clouds. One of Colorado's dominant peaks, abruptly rising from the Eastern Plains, known as America's most famous mountain. Gives the name Pikes Peak region to the great area about it, including Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, suburbs, Ute Pass and all the mountain communities on its flanks.
