The back of this linen vintage postcard tells us that this is the streamline cog train at the summit of Pikes Peak Colorado. 14110 feet above the sea. This scene shows the massive old stone Summit House visited by travelers for over 40 years. Located at the extreme eastern edge of the summit it overlooks Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and the Great Plains.
