The back of this postcard tells us that this is the Young Men's Christian Association - YMCA, Nevada Avenue and Bijou Street in Colorado Springs. Incorporated October 24, 1882. Building erected 1901. Cornerstone laid August 10, 1901 by Theodore Roosevelt. The inscription on the cornerstone reads "For the welfare of young men". Fifty guest rooms, gymnasium, shower baths and swimming pool. "A Philanthropy, Not a Charity".

This vintage white border postcard is unused and is in excellent condition. Slight crease right hand side barely discernable. Dating this late 1920's as it is a white border postcard.
