The Cascades is a man made waterfall attraction built in 1932 by William Sparks. It was his dream to do something for the people of Jackson Michigan. The William and Matilda Sparks Foundation was created in the fall of 1929 to develop the land into a recreation spot and meditation center. It is now known around the world. The project provided jobs, tourism and more for the people of Jackson.

Vintage white border postcard is unused, although it is written on, and is in excellent condition. It is black and white but it is NOT a real photo postcard. It is a decent lithograph - the printing dots are visible under examination.

Dating around 1935.
